Cafe: Les Pâtisseries
Address: 222 Upper Thomson Road
Singapore 574354
Doesn't the name sounds interesting to you? Les Pâtisseries is actually a cafe located at Upper Thomson Road, the street of Cafes. In case you're wondering what does 'Les Pâtisseries' mean, it means pastries in French. You guessed it, this cafe serves different kinds of French pastries and confectioneries. As most of their ingredients originate from France, no doubt the french desserts would taste extraordinary with high-quality ingredients, bringing you the taste of Franch itself.
Here are a few snapshots of its menu!
Cr: Alexis for the photos of the menu. The above 3 photos are from the internet.
Look at the waffles menu, oh my. Waffle Ispahan sounds so good. To be honest, the price of the waffles are actually not too bad, typical waffle price you can find at any cafes. Not to mention, some of such prices taste horrendous.

Anyhow, I actually tried the Thai Milk Tea & Earl Grey Waffle. It is so good. I mean, look at it, how can it be bad right? At first when you hear "Earl Grey Waffle", you're probably thinking to yourself like, Earl Grey ice cream or something but no you are absolutely wrong. The waffle itself is actually Earl Grey flavored. How crazy does that sound? For Earl Grey lovers like me, you will definitely enjoy this. The rich flavor of the waffle itself is good eating alone. On top of it is actually two huge scoops of Thai Milk Tea flavored ice-cream and a macaron (which I can't seem to identify the flavor, I think it is pandan flavored?) and, I must say that it is so god-like. Not only was the Earl Grey flavor on point, but so was the Thai Milk Tea flavored ice-cream. Both flavors were on point they seriously go so well together, I was not expecting this. The macarons, to be honest, was kind of a disappointment because it was relatively small and the crust wasn't very tasty. However, I must say that the flavor was extraordinary, it wasn't too sweet for my taste buds and it actually tasted quite good, except for the texture and the appearance of the macaron. Apart from that, everything about the macaron is fine, though I must say I have tasted better. I like how they added some fruits as well as almond nuts to complement this flavor, this is by far the best waffles I have eaten. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the texture of the waffle. It is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I like such waffles because it is very easy to cut. Moreover, it doesn't turn soft easily when the ice cream melts, unlike some lousy quality waffles which turn soggy after contact with the fast-melting ice cream. (=.=)
I can't wait to visit this cafe again and try out 'Waffle Ispahan'! I love anything rose flavored because rose is my favorite flower and it tastes so light and fluffy with macarons or any french desserts. Anyway, you can visit their website here: http://www.lespatisseries.com.sg/home.htm and all information can be found there.
Much loves,
Ivy
Restaurant: Bonchon
Hey everyone!! I am finally back with a new blog post. Today's post is about Bonchon!! I had my first food tasting session with a few other Faves personalities yesterday! In case you guys don't know, I am in Favesasia yes. I don't want to make a big deal out of it but yeah. If you have any questions regarding why I'm in it and how, you can drop me a question on my ask.fm. I'll leave a link at the end of this blog post so please read on!! THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST. I decided to write this blog post on my own accord alright. It's just a food review. I'll be posting an Instagram post regarding a $30 giveaway voucher to dine at Bonchon on Tuesday, 27 June 2017 at 5 pm. Look out for it alright and please support me! The details of the giveaway will be below too so please read on!
Okay, let's get to the main point of this post. What is good there? Okay, we initially ordered according to aesthetics. Meaning, we ordered food that looks good in pictures. The must-have Korean food for photos is BIBIMBAP! We also ordered 2 plates of Korean fried chicken, both boneless and wings. How can we have food without drinks right? Hence, we ordered quite a number of drinks. We actually ordered 1 Rasberry Cruiserita, Blue Lagoon, Korean pear and Wildberry (i think) Soju cocktail. These cocktails come in cute glass lightbulb bottles and a bucket of ice with 2 cubes of LED fake ice cubes in them. It's really pretty. (photos just below)
Okay anyway, what's really good here is the fried chicken and the Bulgogi. If you like Soju, go ahead with Soju. The girls and I aren't a great fan of Soju. I like their Korean Pear Juice though, you guys can give it a shot. Here's the link to their menu: http://bonchon.sg/latest-menu/
The Bibimbap is so-so only. The Chicken ramen isn't that bad as well. Note that all these are according to me and a few other girls' opinions alright! The 4 of us aren't a big fan of Korean food also so yeah. I hope this can help you if you win the $30 voucher! You can try other food and let me know what else is good there!! We did order Army Stew but I didn't get to eat it.
