Does love need a reason?

Guys guys, I came across an interesting topic that day okay. Here's a story about the topic I want to talk about.
Once, a lady when having a conversation with her lover, asked:
lady: Do you like me? Why do you love me?
Man: I can't tell you the reason but I really do love you.
Lady: You can't even tell me why you love me how can you say you love me? My friend's boyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you!
Man: okay... okay! Erm... because you are beautiful, your voice is sweet, you are caring, you are loving, your beautiful smile, your every moments.
The lady felt very satisfied wither the man's answer.
Unfortunately, a few days later, the lady met with an accident and went in a comma.
The man then placed a letter by her side, and here is the content:
Darling, because of your sweet voice that I love you. However now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you. Because of your care and concern that I like you. Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you. Because of your beautiful smile, thus I love you. Now can you smile? Can you move? No, therefore I cannot love you...
If love needs a reason like now, then there is no reason for me to love you anymore as you can't do the things that made me love you any longer.
Does Love need a reason? The answer is clearly simple, no.
But, I still love you...
So, as you guys guessed it the topic is "Does Love Need A Reason?" What do you guys think?
