Hong Kong Trip

23 April 2016

Hi all, yes the long awaited post has arrived. I promise you this week I will write two blog posts just to make up for this. I'm really sorry about it and omg, I'm so worried that I would forget the names of the places I visited in Hong Kong... Actually, I honestly think that I've already forgotten them already haha whoops...
Anywho, the usual routine which is to let the pictures speak for themselves!

If I'm not wrong, this was taken outside my hotel which I have forgotten which hotel I stayed omg I'm so sorry.

On the first night, my dad's really rich friend aka his godson decides to meet us and treat us dinner. While waiting for him me and my mum were just really bored so yeah... Btw, taxi drivers in Hong Kong is crazy. Like super crazy. If you think Malaysian taxi drivers hit the speed limit, Hong Kong taxi drivers exceed them a hell lot. Okay, this was what happened. My dad's godson drove a convertible which was not enough to fit my entire family of 5. Hence, the 3 guys ( Father and 2 brothers) took the taxi. This taxi came into the hotel to drop off some tourists, the moment he entered the hotel carpark we were like, "woah chill bro." He turned and parked his taxi with one turn and I'm not exaggerating on this. It was a super steep and fast turn that I freaked out. As my dad was lazy to flag another cab, they decided to take this one. The moment they entered the taxi, the taxi driver sped off. It was known that he drove way past 130km/h because my dad's godson was driving at 130km/h and they were not insight. I heard from my dad that that taxi driver owns 3 mobile phones and when questioned "why so?", he replied, "because I need to do business" in chinese.
LOL right?

This was taken somewhere I can't remember but I know we were on the way back from Lantau Island. When we were on our way to Lantau Island and we walked past this place, there were people filiming. It was really cool, like all the props and extra people were already stationed at a certain distance waiting for the cue 'action!' before they start walking and acting as passers-by. Cool right?

This was at the ferry terminal.

I didn't put any makeup except filling my brows a little. I mean, overseas, where got time right?

This was on the second day where we went to Lamma Island which is a very well-known place for trekking and its seafood restaurant. We decided to trek a little and found this beancurd store owned by a few old ladies. They cooked it the traditonal way with gula melaka (brown sugar) if I'm not wrong. It was gooooooddd and quite cheap actually. Well, to be honest Hong Kong is really expensive, including the seafood. I actually reccomend Jumbo seafood in Singapore if you want to eat nice seafood. You can also go to Turf City's Ah Yi Seafood restaurant, way better man.

When we were 1/4 of the trail if I'm not wrong, there was a beach...or two? This was the first one.

Hi, do we look alike?

#ootd

I didn't write this.

I look in all my photos here gosh nvm, poor phone quality. Anyway, mandatory selfie!

The sea basses here are humongous.

Spot the fish with no eye.

Hong Kong's MTR is really quiet.

Long queue for Cable Car but okay

My second brother is really retarded haha

Hey, I look glam here.

We queued for a total of about 3 hours if I'm not wrong? We could have taken the bus, much cheaper but not in terms of view. Anyway, because of the long queue, there were entertainers performing some magic tricks and balloon sculpturing for us.

25mins cable car ride to Lantau Island

We are here! Okay, this isn't the first thing you see when you reach here but yeah HAHA

Okay, so like I have 0% idea why there were so many animals here. Oxes, dogs and chickens. I mean, mountains but still, they have tags on them and the dogs there serve like shepards to drive the oxes away. They were quite friendly I guess... Though one nearly rammed into a lady and I swear when I say rammed, I mean literally with the horns at the back of the lady. That ox was being barked by a dog then it ran away resulting to nearly an accident. Thank god she dodged it fast. If it was me, I would have died since I'm such a klutz.

Just one of the dogs there and look at how it's posed. Wow, much elegance. I think these animals are like sacred entities to protect the place because this entire place is a temple and there is the big buddha too.

yes, stairs.

 Cow dunk

Nv ren jie. 女人街

If you're coming to nu ren jie, come to this Grass Jelly shop, a bit costly because it's the legitimate traditional one with herbal and all. It does not taste bitter it tastes AWESOMELY GOOD. TRY IT. It's really famous.

We spent New Year Eve at Victoria Harbour. Reall beautiful place and very crowded. There were people singing all around and people giving free hugs, free kisses and free fucks. They wrote that on the signboards, not kidding.

Second last day selfie haha
