Shopping Frenzy

23 December 2015

Hi guys, omg what is 2 days after today? CHRISTMAS! Dayum, I have yet to see the Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay. This year, I don't know if it is because of SG 50 or not, Singapore has become very interesting. By interesting I mean by like many events etc. Mind you, these events ain't just marathon and other mundane boring events, but fun and exciting events! Lets see what you can do this Christmas...
Okay, so I googled a few things and of course the famous Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay was ranked first. Like seriously O.M.G. Have you seen the photographs of it taken by people or like google images of it? It is gorgeous. I'm going there this Friday on Christmas Day itself with my family. It is so going to be crowded to the maximum. Lets see what else are there? You should probably know about the Christmas lights at Orchard? Yeah it's a tradition every year. However, I am not going to lie to you, I actually find that this year's Christmas decorations at Orchard Road is AMAZING. Do visit Orchard road at night, you will be dazzled by the lights and decorations, accompanied with beautiful music and performances.
Alright, this post isn't about Christmas. It's about my shopping haul.
I am not a shopaholic, let me just tell you. Yes, I have spent about $400 this month and I am not kidding. Yeah this is crazy, I know. Oh, minus $100 because my boyfriend wanted to pay those things which sums up to $100. Wait and did I mention, I did not buy any branded goods whatsoever, so basically, I just bought many many items. Don't forget, there is Christmas sales, Black Friday sales and also Year End Sales. I had plans on revamping my entire room so I had to buy some decorations. I had to revamp my wardrobe because I have little clothes for my age. Don't worry I sold off many of my things to earn some income and yeah those are used for buying these things. I recommend the CAROUSELL app. In case most of you don't know, Carousell is an application for buying and selling of items. You can sell literally anything and I am not kidding. Be it second hand or first hand. I kind of like this application because I get to learn more about how retail business works. Moreover, I might actually aim to be an entrepreneur and open a store of my own.
Okay, moving on, I am not promoting CAROUSELL here. HAHA.

I can't remember what else have I bought but I remember that I sold some stuffs also because they're of the wrong size so I shall not list those stuffs here. There is a lot of money spent on food too.
By the way let me tell you a really epic story...

I bought my boyfriend a Fossil watch. Retail price coasts $269 but I bought it at Lazada SG which sells 100% authentic products for a way cheaper price. On top of that, they were having major discounts. I ended up buying the watch from Lazada SG for only $140.50, cash on delivery and price is inclusive of delivery. Cheap isn't it? Doesn't matter. I bought him a watch because his watch that costs $20 has spoiled. He really love that watch though...Okay here's the thing, I bought the watch before I found out he dislikes Fossil. He dislikes Fossil because he finds that they are a ripped off and are not worth the price. Basically, he is trying to say that because Fossil doesn't last long, there isn't quality hence, it is not worth to purchase the products. I have no idea how true this statement is but if he dislikes the brand, what else can I do? This watch was originally supposed to be his Christmas gift. Okay the thing is, I listed it up on CAROUSEL and one fine day when I was very very VERY busy, he suddenly asked to view my CAROUSEL. Without even thinking, I gave my account name to him. Obviously he saw the watch and he was like "WTF you bought me a Fossil watch?!"
Well, he felt really guilty but I still sold it off anyway and earn a profit, after all it is brand new. I mean, what's the use of giving him the watch if he doesn't like the brand right? I mean if you dislike a certain brand, despite how gorgeous it looks, as long as you dislike even the tiniest bit of the item, would you still use it or even buy it for yourself?
THE END.

HAHA okay, here's my apology to the lengthy and long awaited update post. HAHA sorry, I've been really lazy :P HAHA. Anyway, I will be going overseas for vacation this December, YAYY!! That's all for today, have a great holiday and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

signing out,
9.17pm SG
